We’re still the same team, with the same ambition: helping ambitious companies navigate international expansion, enter new markets, build meaningful connections, and turn global ambitions into real growth.
What’s changing is the name. What isn’t is the work behind it.
Why B/ACE Global?
DutchBasecamp was born in Amsterdam and built around the Dutch startup ecosystem. But our work has grown far beyond the Netherlands.
Today, we support founders and organisations across markets, working with an international network of founders, experts, investors, corporates, governments and ecosystem partners. Through our connection with ACE, our network now spans 19 countries, while we’ve supported 1100+ founders across 35 countries.
As our work became increasingly international, the name DutchBasecamp started to describe where we came from more than where we are going.
B/ACE Global reflects that evolution.
It represents a broader ambition: making international expansion more accessible, practical and connected for companies ready to grow across borders.
The team.
The people you’re working with are still here.
Our mission.
We’re still focused on helping companies make smarter international growth decisions and enter new markets with confidence.
Our services.
Our market validation, internationalisation, market access, investor and enterprise readiness programmes continue under the new name.
Our network.
Our founders, coaches, partners and ecosystem relationships remain at the heart of what we do.
What stays the same?
In short, a lot.
The team.
The people you’re working with are still here.
Our mission.
We’re still focused on helping companies make smarter international growth decisions and enter new markets with confidence.
Our services.
Our market validation, internationalisation, market access, investor and enterprise readiness programmes continue under the new name.

What changes?
From now on, you’ll see us as B/ACE Global across our website, communications, events and social channels. You’ll also start seeing: B/ACE Global (formerly DutchBasecamp) during our transition period, so it’s clear that the organisation you already know is still the one behind the new name.
Our website, email addresses and other contact details are also moving to the new B/ACE Global identity. Existing DutchBasecamp contact points will continue to work during the transition.
DutchBasecamp isn’t disappearing. It remains an important part of our story.
It’s the name under which we built our community, supported hundreds of founders and developed the foundations of what we do today.
So while you’ll increasingly see B/ACE Global, DutchBasecamp will remain part of our history and continue to be referenced where useful.
We’re becoming B/ACE Global.
The name is changing, but what we do isn’t. We’re still the same team, with the same ambition: helping ambitious companies navigate international expansion, enter new markets, build meaningful connections, and turn global ambitions into real growth.
What’s changing is the name. What isn’t is the work behind it.

We stay involved beyond the visa, helping you build a business that works in the Dutch market
We’ve been through the Startup Visa journey ourselves, as founders back in 2017, so we understand the process from the inside out. Beyond firsthand experience, we bring deep expertise in regulatory and compliance challenges, one of the biggest hurdles when building a business in the EU. And through our parent company
ACE, we can support you beyond the visa itself, helping with company setup, tax, and operational matters as you grow in the Netherlands.
What happens after the first year?
After your 1-year Startup Visa, you transition to the Self-Employed Residence Permit, granted for 2 years, followed by a 5-year self-employed permit. After 5 years of continuous residence in the Netherlands, you may become eligible for permanent residency or Dutch citizenship.
Yes, we require a working MVP. As part of our selection process, we also run technical due diligence and look for early signs of traction in the Dutch market, such as LOIs, pilot discussions, or validated customer insights.
Will I get access to a workspace and ecosystem support?
Yes, you can work from our office in the center of Amsterdam and become part of a strong founder community. We also organize regular demo days and B2B matchmaking, provide access to events and conferences, and help you build the network and visibility you need in the Dutch market.
