What does the Facilitator/Trainer do?

  • Facilitate interactive (online & offline) plenary Globaliser sessions and involve the right people at the right time.
  • Make sure you have the most relevant experts on board and prepare their involvement together with them.
  • Get to know the participants very well, gather their challenges and tailor the content of the plenary sessions to the specific needs of the group and always go for the highest quality.
  • Guide the participants throughout the programme to achieve the highest impact.
  • Work demand-driven, evaluate and continuously improve the sessions, content, expert line-up etc.
  • Have the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of innovative tech companies in, for example: cybersecurity, health tech, agri-food tech and sustainability.
  • Have fun!

About the Globaliser 

The Globaliser is a 12-week internationalisation programme in which 8 scale-ups build an international expansion plan with the help of experts and the tools and methodology of DutchBasecamp. The programme is a highly-rated programme that has already helped over 150 founders and is perfect for any scale-up struggling to structure, plan and prioritise their international expansion.

Every Globaliser consists of a project team of at least one experienced coordinator and a Lead Facilitator. The coordinator assists in the practical preparation as well as during the programme itself. You will act as Lead Facilitator in several Globaliser programmes and will become an essential part of the Globaliser team.

What makes you the perfect addition?

  • You get energy from interacting with entrepreneurs and many different stakeholders
  • You have a strong affinity with entrepreneurship & tech startups / scale-ups. Experience as an entrepreneur or country lead is a big +.
  • You have considerable experience facilitating group sessions or training professionals
  • You are hands-on and get things done (and are not afraid to tell people what you need to get things done)
  • You are based in the Netherlands, or live within travel distance, so you can be present in the Netherlands for live plenary sessions.
  • You have excellent English language skills, Dutch is a big +.

Application Deadline: May 23rd, 2022

Commitment: Our preferred candidate is able to commit for 1> year for 1-1,5 days approximately a week (some more hours in the weeks of the sessions). Whether this is on a freelance basis or on the payroll is open for discussion.

Location: You are able to work from our office at TNW West in Amsterdam, but are free to work (partially) remote too.
