We stay involved beyond the visa, helping you build a business that works in the Dutch market
What makes us different?
We’ve been through the Startup Visa journey ourselves, as founders back in 2017, so we understand the process from the inside out. Beyond firsthand experience, we bring deep expertise in regulatory and compliance challenges, one of the biggest hurdles when building a business in the EU. And through our parent company ACE, we can support you beyond the visa itself, helping with company setup, tax, and operational matters as you grow in the Netherlands.
What happens after the first year?
After your 1-year Startup Visa, you transition to the Self-Employed Residence Permit, granted for 2 years, followed by a 5-year self-employed permit. After 5 years of continuous residence in the Netherlands, you may become eligible for permanent residency or Dutch citizenship.
Do I need an MVP?
Yes, we require a working MVP. As part of our selection process, we also run technical due diligence and look for early signs of traction in the Dutch market, such as LOIs, pilot discussions, or validated customer insights.
Will I get access to a workspace and ecosystem support?
Yes, you can work from our office in the center of Amsterdam and become part of a strong founder community. We also organize regular demo days and B2B matchmaking, provide access to events and conferences, and help you build the network and visibility you need in the Dutch market.
